Tour from Marrakech
Description
Spend two days and one night in southern Morocco starting from the red city of Marrakech. This tour is especially for those who do not like luxury and who would like to live experiences in the desert, sleep in tents and ride a camel. During this trip, we will give you the opportunity to cross the High Atlas mountain and visit the town of Ait Ben Haddou and the movie town “Ouarzazate” before reaching the Draa Valley.
Day1: Marrakech to Zagora, High Atlas Mountains, Ouarzazate and Draa Valley
It will be picked up at 08:00 from your riad / hotel in Marrakech
and will lead to the magical mountain of Atlas and Tizi n Tichka. The High
Atlas Mountains are surrounded by beautiful landscapes and Berber villages.
Arrive at the village of Ait Benhaddou known as the
Gladiator’s Village, visit the Kasbah with a local guide and have lunch at the
same place. Later, we will continue our two-day desert trip to Zagora through
the Draa Valley to reach Zagora. Once they arrive in Zagora, the camels will
leave after a walk in the Zagora desert camp and watch the sunset. Enjoy a
traditional Moroccan dinner under the stars while locals play their traditional
songs for your entertainment.
Day2: Zagora to Marrakech via Draa Valley Ait Ben Haddou and high Atlas Mountains
Wake up early, you will be greeted by the lovely view of the sunrise over the small golden dunes of the Zagora desert. This is accompanied by a local breakfast at the Zagora camp. The last step is the camel ride to meet your driver, who must take you back to Marrakech. You will also have free time in the city of Ouarzazate to have lunch at one of the local restaurants and visit the famous Kasbah of Taourirt. In the afternoon, we return to Marrakech wearing the Atlas Mountains that end their 2-day tour in the desert of Marrakech.

Please note:if a long Camel trek and overnight stay in the camp is not for you you can still enjoy the sunnset in Erg Chebbi with a schorter camel trek or a walk and pass the night in the Hotel at the dune line.
